About the Role
Lyra developed an innovative video therapy program called Lyra Care Therapy: blending live video sessions with betweensession digital psychoeducation and customizable skill building tools. The Lyra DBT program capitalizes on Lyra Care Therapy to supplement standard individual DBT and DBT skills groups with novel betweensession DBTrelevant digital activitiesactivities that help promote skill generalization and integration into your clients daily lives. Lyra DBT clients also have 24/7 access to a team of licensed clinicians who have been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills coaching for around the clock support.
Daily: As a Lyra DBT Therapist youll provide individual DBT and DBT skills groups via live video to adult clients. Youll also assign DBTrelevant digital lessons videos and assessments to your clients to enhance learnings and monitor outcomes between sessions. An important note: Lyras clients come from a multitude of backgrounds and experiences and have varying needs and abilities. We strive to continue to meet their unique needs by delivering culturally responsive carean approach that accounts for the impact of cultural backgrounds on each persons care experience.
Regularly: Our therapists enjoy connecting with their colleagues who share a passion for providing evidencebased care. Youll attend weekly consultation team meetings as well as oneonone consultation meetings with an expert DBT team lead colead DBT skills groups with other DBT providers and attend robust trainings to enhance your clinical skills. You always have a team behind you if a crisis comes up. Youre never alone even while working remotely.
Requirements
- Unrestricted LCSW LMFT LPC PsyD PhD or equivalent license in California (i.e. able to work independently without supervision from a licensed supervisor) without current past or pending disciplinary action
- Formal didactic training required (e.g. inhouse training with consultation team tape review 1:1 supervision; Behavioral Tech; DBT Foundational Training; DBT Intensive Training)
- One year minimum experience providing comprehensive DBT which includes: individual DBT therapy with clients through Stage 1 of treatment facilitating skills groups utilizing Linehan materials participation on a consultation team skills coaching
- DBTLBC certification preferred but not required
- Experience comfort and passion working with clients who present with high risk behaviors including suicidal ideation and/or selfinjury
- Willingness to obtain crosslicensing in additional states as needed to support program growth
- Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment (video and teletherapy) preferred but not required
- Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g. Zoom Google Meets DoxyMe Skype etc.

The anticipated salary range for a fulltime licensed DBT provider at Lyra is $120000 annually.

At Lyra base salary is only one aspect of an employees total compensation package which may additionally include discretionary restricted stock unit awards comprehensive healthcarecoverage retirement benefits and time off with pay. The role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
