EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM: This position is eligible for an employee referral incentive payment of $1000.00 (conditions apply).
POSITION SUMMARY:
This a grant funded position which is responsible for the development of the training program for the CASA of Arizona program within the Dependent Childrens Services Division of the Supreme Court. This position works with the 15 local Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) programs and National CASA Association and faculty to develop curriculum and coordinate educational programs for CASA staff and volunteers in all formats including the creation of computerbased training and curriculum development for traditional classroom settings. In addition this position may also serve as the training specialist for the Foster Care Review Board ensuring that all new members learn how to conduct traumainformed reviews that support the needs of child victims. This position is also responsible for ensuring that new Foster Care Review Board members understand the roles of the various key child welfare partners including the CASA.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a bachelors degree in education Communication Public Administration or a related field and at least three years experience inclassroom training and curriculum development or related field. Advanced knowledge and skills in methods and techniques of curriculum and educational program development for adult learners and ability to teach those concepts to committees and faculty. Experience in the development delivery and evaluation of education programs (conferences regional trainings workshops and alternative delivery methods). Excellent facilitation and presentation skills as well as oral and written communication skills and abilities. This position also requires strong interpersonal skills and abilities experience in organizing and managing multiple and complex projects excellent organizational and time management skills and abilities and the ability to exercise sound professional judgment.
The preferred candidate will have knowledge of Arizona Judiciary and court department operations and structure.
As well as the ability to effectively use development software to produce computerbased training including multimedia presentation programs Learning Management Systems and other creative development tools.
