Job Description

This is a key leadership role where you will influence Kinetics commercial and legal strategy supporting the companys mission to become a global leader in zeroemissions transport.

A newly created position reflecting Kinetics rapid expansion. You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the shaping of the legal function in a fastgrowing purposedriven business.

Work across a diverse range of legal matters from commercial contracts tenders and M&A to regulatory compliance and corporate governance in a fastpaced highimpact environment.

About the Role

As Head of Legal you will provide expert legal advice to protect Kinetics interests and support its commercial growth. Reporting to the Group General Counsel you will advise on a broad range of legal matters manage risk and contribute to the companys strategy as it works towards becoming a global leader in zeroemissions transport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft review and negotiate contracts including services agreements procurement M&A and finance documents
  • Provide commercially focused legal advice to senior leaders
  • Ensure legal compliance corporate governance and risk management
  • Support transactions tenders and strategic projects
  • Maintain and enhance legal templates and policies
  • Manage external counsel and legal costs
  • Assist in reporting to the Board and Audit and Risk Committee

About You

  • Tertiary legal qualification with a current Australian practising certificate
  • 6 years PQE from a toptier or midtier firm
  • Experience in corporate M&A projects infrastructure energy disputes or real estate preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement
