The Opportunity:
The candidate will support the Assistant Vice President Managers and both the renewal and refinance Mortgage Specialists in the daytoday requirements that are needed to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently.
How you will contribute:
- Training will begin with assigned Learning Network Courses and proceed to job shadowing with coworkers in the Administration Team. Review of the Administration Guideline manual will be assigned to assist with learning the different functions of the position
- Release of Renewal Agreements and preparation of revised Renewal Agreements as requested by the Assistant Vice President Managers and Mortgage Specialists
- Printing and preparing Renewal Agreements for regular mail as requested by the Assistant Vice President Managers and the Mortgage Specialists
- Printing and mailing general correspondence as requested by the Assistant Vice President Managers or Mortgage Specialists
- Releasing the daily Renewal Agreements based on Investor guidelines
- Complete file review as per First National guidelines prior to renewal being issued. Communication with the direct Manager would be involved if the account falls outside of the standard renewal release process
- Daily communication with the Assistant Vice President Managers Mortgage Specialists and the Processing Department will be required
- Special projects are assigned by the Assistant Vice President and direct Manager such as updating reports and reviewing documentation for Quality Assurance purpose
- Rush requests are prioritized based on maturity dates customer service requests or broker inquiries that are sent to the Assistant Vice President Managers and Mortgage Specialists
The experience you need:
- Post secondary education
- The ability to work both independently and together with coworkers is required
- English is a requirement and French would be an asset
Skills and Attributes:
- Accuracy organization and the ability to prioritize are essential for this position
- Being able to think analytically is important for this role and a high priority in order to adhere to Investor guidelines and to ensure accurate information is provided to the client on the documentation prepared
- Multitasking is required throughout the day
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be beneficial
- Clear communication skills are required to work together with the Assistant Vice President Manager and Mortgage Specialists

- Office environment
- Periods of high volume with tight timelines
- Long periods of stationary position/sitting
- Prolonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)
