Job Description
Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun compassionate dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife.
The individual is a 60yearold male in need of a companion who iscompassionate and outgoingwho will take him out to socialize and to community outings.The ideal candidate is someone who is kindhearted patient caring and reliable. He enjoys bowling visiting the mall car rides parks movies museums the beach loves eating sports (especially hockey) getting his hair cut and spending time at the library.
This is an independent contract position and pays$15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday from 1pm 5pm (to start) eventually will be 12 hours a week

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
- Assisting with personal hygiene
- Helping with transfers and mobility
- Meal/snack preparation
- Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to the park
- Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
