We are currently looking for a motivated and detailoriented Accounting Assistant to join our team and help contribute to our ongoing success.
The Accounting Assistant will play a pivotal role in our finance department managing various accounting tasks to ensure smooth financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively across different teams while gaining invaluable experience in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare accurate financial reports.
- Process invoices schedule and issue payments and manage vendor files.
- Prepare financial analyses aging reports and other relevant documents.
- Prepare billing for affiliate locations and monitor collections.
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting and finance records.
- Contribute to managing the corporate credit card program.
- Support treasury management functions and assist with annual audits.
- Serve as an alternate payroll processor for TKC.
- Aid in affiliate accounting functions and participate in Kendal Peer Groups.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role.
- Must have general accounting accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
- An associates degree in accounting or business is strongly desired.
- Familiar with US GAAP and accounting principles.
- Familiar with cloudbased ERPs and able to fully leverage available tools and systems Sage Intacct experience is strongly desired.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English.
