About the Service:
Launceston Medicare Mental Health Centre/Head to Health is an innovative mental health service funded by Primary Health Tasmania providing a onestop hub and mental health support for people aged 18 years and older.

Role Overview:
The Mental Health Practitioner is key to service delivery within Launceston Medicare Mental Health Centre/Head to Health and will:
- Deliver short to mediumterm evidencebased bestpractice interventions and conduct group work comprehensive assessments and care plans for people 18 years of age and over
- Work collaboratively in service delivery planning and development
- Participate in clinical review and qualityassurance processes
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of community partnerships with external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Mental healthrelated degree (e.g. psychology social work counselling) and related registration along with a minimum of 2 years experience in the relevant field
- Knowledge and experience in the provision of clinical mental health assessment and evidencebased interventions
- Proven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding assessment and care planning
- Sound understating of the public nongovernment and private mental health systems and programs and associated nonmental health programs in a community setting
- Demonstrated computer skills and ability to maintain clinical records
- Proven understanding of duty of care rights to privacy and confidentiality
- Positive solutionfocused attitude with commitment to positively participate in service improvement activities and personal clinical growth
- Welldeveloped written verbal and interpersonal skills
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWVP
- Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
