Job Description
Responsibilities to include:
* Working on and leading a design team from initial studies and design through construction management projects.
* Working throughout the municipal water wastewater and stormwater industry.
* Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of junior and midlevel engineers.
* Be responsible for design tasks commensurate with experience
* On multiple concurrent projects serve as the main point of contact for the client contractors and staff
* Work with the team in making decisions regarding technical approaches cost control schedule control change management risk and claims management and project performance.
* Actively manage and report on the status of the project schedule and budget.
* Lead project meetings with client and stakeholders.
* Develop review and approve written deliverables.
* Position will lead to increasing levels of client development and management supported by other local regional and corporate staff.

Minimum professional qualifications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Bachelors Degree in civil/environmental engineering or a related field
* Proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g. Microsoft Word Excel etc.
* Strong organizational and proven problemsolving skills
* PE license or the ability to obtain one within six months
* Desired experience is 1015 years in the water field
* Preferred professional qualifications:
* Masters Degree in environmental engineering
* Background in business development
* Significant experience with public utilities
