Job Description

Entry Level Mechanical Engineer
The role involves supporting documentation and development for new diesel engine products. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining production engine specifications supporting customer service marketing and application & installation groups participating in cost reduction and quality improvement projects and troubleshooting engines.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing special rating requests and emission requests
- Supporting new diesel engine product documentation
- Work with Turbo suppliers to accurately size turbos for specific applications (Marine Locomotive GenSet Etc.
- Work to resolve Current Product issues (CPI) using root cause analysis to determine failures.
- Gather and study performance and test data.
- Supporting Customer Service Marketing and Application & Installation groups
- Supporting cost reduction and product quality projects
- Engine troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited university.
- A basic understanding of diesel engine operation and trouble shooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problemsolving skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of diesel engine operation and trouble shooting skills
- Experience with reporting tools or database management (Excel and Power BI Preferred)
- The proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
- Understanding of large diesel engines

Pay Range: $65000$80000 Commensurate with experience
