What Youll Do:
- Deliver materials and equipment to construction sites ensuring timely and safe service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers demonstrating Diligents commitment to customer obsession.
- Operate a roll off truck safely and efficiently adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational readiness.
- Load and unload materials using the knuckle boom ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
- Assess and optimize load distribution to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Identify and propose new insights and improvements to business practices fostering a culture of innovation and curiosity.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to share best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with dispatchers warehouse staff and other team members to coordinate deliveries and service requests.
- Support colleagues in achieving team goals and embodying the core value of teamwork.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of self and others during operations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries vehicle inspections and maintenance as required by company policy and regulatory standards.
Wed love to hear from you if you:
- You have roll off experience
- You are physically fit to perform the job which requires pushing pulling bending twisting and lifting up to 50 pounds (you will be exposed to a physical environment outdoors in various weather conditions which involves dirt odors noise weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday)
- You have a Class A or B CDL license for over 5 years and you like to be home every night.
- You put Safety 1st and are steadfast in keeping people safe from harm.
- You have excellent time management skills.
- You can safely operate a knuckle boom flatbed truck.
- You are comfortable driving in and out of tight construction job sites and downtown areas.
- You can perform a daily 360degree inspection of the truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return.
- If you have any experience in waste construction demolition or driving dont forget to mention it!
