The Project Manager III position will serve on the Center for Community Health and Aging operational team coordinating the centers partnership engagement activities and serving as the research
administrator for the centers healthy aging research projects

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hires experience.
Schedule/Location: Located in College Station TX this position has a typical schedule of Monday Friday 8am to 5pm. Persons in this position should be flexible to work beyond typical schedule as needed.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Seven years of experience working in an academic research setting with pre and postaward support on grants and contracts or related areas
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the following: academic/research setting; financial oversight; pre and postaward; knowledge of TAMU SRS policies and procedures; federal and state grant application requirements; TAMU financial and travel policies; Maestro FAMIS/Canopy AggieBuy Concur and iPaymentCashiering

Responsibilities
Research Project Administration and Management:Serves as primary liaison between center and both SPH Office of Research and SRS for pre and postaward for the centers healthy aging proposals and projects. Supports community health and/or adolescent health research administrators with pre and postaward activities as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Preaward:Assists in identifying appropriate funding opportunities for center faculty and staff. Serves as liaison between PI and SRS Proposal Administrator. Coordinates the proposal submission process and provides proposal development support to PIs including grant matrix development budget development proposal component/document tracking document formatting and compliance check. Supports grant writing activities and ensures proposals comply with funding opportunity guidelines. Ensures all required proposal documents are received by proposal team and submitted to SRS. Assists SRS with and/or completes the proposal submission to the funder.
Postaward:Assists with contract/agreement upon funding. Assists with subaward and consultant paperwork as needed. Coordinates project hiring of staff and students. Periodically conducts meetings with stakeholders to discuss contractual or fiscal information. Supports submission of project deliverables and reports and ensures deliverables comply with grant or contract guidelines. Maintains project financials. Monitors project budget expenditures and completes corrections when appropriate. Monitors annual spending and meets with PI to review account spending needs. Assists with project purchasing and travel. Prepares vouchers purchase orders and requisitions and coordinates with accounting personnel. Prepares and submits PI travel requests and expense reports in Concur. Ensures project financial activities are compliant with TAMU policies including procurement financial management and operations contracts administration and travel. Completes monthly costing allocation submission (PEGs) of staff and students on projects. Reviews payroll monthly to ensure personnel effort is charging correctly. Completes payroll corrections (PCTs) as needed. Reviews biannual Time & Effort with project PIs. Assists with no cost extension requests and contract amendment . Assists PI and SRS with project close out. Assists PI with submission of lapsing requests for fixed price projects
Partnership Engagement:Plans coordinates and hosts center engagement events. Manages center affiliate activities including recruitment enrollment and supporting activities. Completes affiliation paperwork including initial affiliation and renewals when appropriate. Maintains center affiliation records including core faculty affiliated faculty external collaborators community partners etc.
