Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality care for animals including physical examinations diagnostic tests and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe medications and create personalized treatment plans for pets.
- Perform surgery and anesthesia when necessary with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to educate them on their pets health preventive care and wellness practices.
- Collaborate with your veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Ideal Candidate:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid California veterinary license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Surgical skills are preferred though mentorship is available for those with less experience.
- Passionate about animal care with a desire to continue growing and learning within the profession.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
