About Us
Sunstar Engineering Americas (SEA) a highly successful manufacturer of automotive adhesives sealants and coating products is seeking an experienced individual to join our team.
About the Position
Support of Research and Development of Projects. Projects can involve (but are not limited to) research new products existing products improvements validation sourcing domestication customer requests quality or manufacturing support.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Learn and perform lab procedures data analysis and timely reporting of results.
- Identify and report unusual results or issues promptly.
- Prepare formulations materials specimens and conduct testing as per specifications.
- Evaluate raw materials and processes to ensure stability and compatibility.
- Perform chemical lab procedures and analytical tests supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate on APQP teams and follow required safety labeling and organizational standards.
- Support daily operations including cleaning ordering materials and waste disposal according to company policies.
Requirements
- Associates degree in science related field or a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year laboratory experience. Other related experience can apply with sufficient experience.
- Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of laboratory environmental and safety procedures is a must.
