Triage RN- Worthington Pediatrics

Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a highly motivated RN committed to patient center care with strong customer service skills to fill a fulltime Nurse Triage position at our Worthington Pediatrics office located in Worthington OH. This is a FT role working MF 7:20am4:30pm.

The preferred candidate will provide exemplary telephonic triage care to COPCs pediatric patient panel utilize their clinical decision making skills efficiently refer the patient on to the next appropriate level of care and possess knowledge of working within an electronic health record system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide medical triage via telephone to patients.
• Utilize electronic health record and triage systems.
• Document triage episodes for each patient.
• Document phone details in tracking system.
• Schedule appointments.
• Close patient care gaps.
• Assist with rooming patients injections blood drawls when needed.
• Develop effective working relationships with the manager and COPC physicians.
  
  

Requirements:

• Prior RN experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Excellent listening communication and documentation skills.
• Must possess an active nursing license in State of Ohio.
