Job Description
A large company involved in manufacturing and eCommerce is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee a team of 610 people and manage the companys financial operations. This role will involve overseeing the budget P&L management monthly financial statements and accounts payable/receivable processes.
Responsibilities Include:
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of 610 accounting professionals to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
Provide guidance support and training to team members.
Financial Oversight:
Oversee and manage the companys budget ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial goals.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow reports.
Manage P&L to ensure profitability and identify areas for cost optimization.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Supervise the AP and AR processes ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections.
Monitor cash flow and make adjustments as necessary to meet financial targets.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
Prepare financial reports for senior management providing insights and recommendations based on data.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.
Work closely with other departments to ensure financial strategies align with business goals.
Ideal Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting/finance role preferably in manufacturing or eCommerce.
Strong knowledge of budgeting P&L management financial reporting and AP/AR processes.
Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team.
Excellent analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
