JOB TITLE: Bilingual Recovery Support Specialist

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fulltime 40 hours/week

SCHEDULED HOURS: Flexible MonFri some evenings as needed to accommodate client schedules.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Substance Screening Treatment Recovery for Youth (SSTRY); Learn More About SSTRY!

The Substance Screening Treatment Recovery for Youth (SSTRY) program provides outpatient substance abuse treatment to teens and young adults aged 1224 utilizing an evidencebased approach by promoting a healthy lifestyle without the use of and/or alcohol. The program is time limited consisting of 10 individual sessions inclusive of parent/guardian and family sessions for the first 3 months of treatment. Following the first phase is an additional 3 months of treatment to help reinforce skills in the community. Sessions cover a wide range of skills such as problem solving communication understanding the role of substance use in their lives drug refusal and many others.

Duties & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Language: Fluent in Spanish and English

Education: Bachelors degree in mental health related field

Experience: At least two 2 years experience in a substance use setting. Lived experience can substitute for half of this requirement. Excellent verbal communication skills computer literacy.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid drivers license.

Training: Will attend all required program trainings.

COMPENSATION*:

Starting at $18.00/hr min. and up commensurate upon experience.

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or signon incentives. (Please note for parttime positions this range would be prorated based on hours worked)
