Job Description

Maintenance Specialist I Full Time

We are looking for a qualifiedMaintenance Specialist I like you to join our Texas Health family.

Position Highlights

Work location:6100 Harris Parkway Fort Worth TX 76132

Work hours: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM; Monday through Friday with oncall and weekend rotation.

This position will require traveling to our Clearfork facility.

Heres What You Need

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required

3 Years experience in a commercial or industrial environment required.

1 Year experience in a healthcare environment highly preferred.

Has knowledge with chilled water systems pneumatic tube station computerized maintenance system HVAC and general plumbing.

Knowledge with fire alarms life safety systems and inspections of fire alarm devices.

Knowledge of emergency generators and related equipment.

Licenses and Certifications

DL Drivers License Upon Hire required

Other Healthcare maintenance certification Upon Hire preferred

Skills

Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.

Troubleshooting diagnosing and repairing mechanical electrical and utility systems.

Mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.

Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams.

Excellent written verbal and listening skills.

What You Will Do

Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital hospital equipment and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.

Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing electrical carpentry painting general maintenance mechanical HVAC and exterior maintenance as required.

Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment components utilities and the like.

Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs education opportunities and related training.
