Full time Lead Veterinarian Great Opportunity SignOn Bonus Longview TX

A wellestablished AAHAaccredited partner hospital is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join their team in Longview TX. This fulltime position offers a chance to provide highquality medical care while overseeing a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will have 25 years of experience as an Associate Veterinarian proficiency in all aspects of veterinary medicine and a passion for leadership and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to animals including diagnostics treatment and surgery.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic ensuring smooth workflow and quality patient care.
  • Lead and manage the veterinary team providing guidance training and mentorship to staff.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans working closely with clients to ensure the best outcomes for their pets.
  • Manage the clinics budget inventory and ordering of supplies.
  • Recruit hire and develop staff to maintain an efficient and wellfunctioning team.
  • Handle client concerns and resolve complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
  • Serve as the veterinarian of record for required hospital permits and licenses.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to uphold medical quality and ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college.
  • 25 years of experience in veterinary practice with leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in all areas of veterinary medicine including surgery and dentistry.
  • Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.
