Job Description
Are you a CNC Turning Machinist in the North Charleston area looking for a great opportunity to work for an amazing company...if so this might be the opportunity for you!
CNC Turning Machinistmanufactures high precision and highquality engineering parts and assemblies for manufacturing automotive packaging and other applications and industries. This is an innovative expanding group of companies vision managed with an excellent name in the fields of manufacturing services automation robotics material handling and leak testing.
We are seeking a fulltime CNC Turning candidate who possesses both excellent work habits and outstanding skills. Candidate should have a CNC machining background.
What you will do as a CNC Turning candidate:
Production of highquality components prototypes and small series at Gildmeister CTX
series turning machine with driven tools
Set up and adjustment of machines for individual parts prototypes and small series
Write own programs directly on the machine with iTNC Pilot Control
Inspect work using standard and automated inspection equipment
Interpret basic dimensions on print
Maintain a clean work area and observe all safety procedures
Execute machine offsets and tool changes
Troubleshoot and clear machine alarm conditions as required
What You Bring:
Professional experience in the production of components prototypes and small series
Knowledge of programming DECKELMAHO 3 4 5 axis milling machines of the Pseries
Knowledge of Heidenhain and or MillPlus control
Capability to read customer drawings
Capability to work with metric system
Attention to detail
Positive and pleasant demeanor
Team oriented working style
High School degree or similar work experience
Essential Job Functions:
Frequently positioning oneself to perform work tasks
This position operates tools objects and controls as necessary
Must be able to move up to 50lbs
