PartTime Night Sleep Direct Support Professional (SEIU) Halton/Peel Oakville
Hours: 24 hours/week This position will involve working weeknights and alternating weekend schedule.
Wage Range:The successful candidate for this position will be paid according to Schedule A of the SEIU Peel/Halton Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement (currently $19.43 $22.53
Direct Support Professional(DSP)employeeswork with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully inthecommunity.Direct Support Professionals recognizepeoples rights to direct their life understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs andtheysupport people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Requirements:
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Previous Developmental Services work experience
- 6 months relevant experience to this position preferred
- Developmental Services Worker Child and Youth Worker or postsecondary education in a related field
- Computer Skills: Windows Word Excel Email etc.
