Technician I: $25.53 $34.47 Hourly

Technician II: $28.13 $37.98 Hourly

Technician III: $30.96 $41.83 Hourly

Anticipated Hiring Ranges:

Technician I: $25.53 $30.00 Hourly

Technician II: $28.13 $33.05 Hourly

Technician III: $30.96 $36.39 Hourly

*This position is a fulltime termlimited position funded through December 2027 with the possibility of becoming permanent if additional funding is approved at a later date. This position is benefit eligible. . Please view our benefits guidehere.

Job Summary:

The Engineering Technician will assist with the implementation of our lead investigation and replacement programs. Activities may include but are not limited to field investigation preparation of investigations and replacement plans data management GIS mapping and management and other administrative tasks. This position requires a selfmotivated person with sound judgment problem solving skills and data management abilities who can work in collaboration with the project team contractors and the public.The incumbent in this position will provide technically skilled engineering work including planning designing reviewing and project construction management/engineering and budget monitoring of infrastructure construction and/or reconstruction programs water service line investigation and replacement programs for the Citys Water & Sewer Department.
