Job Title: Senior Project Engineer (HV Breakers)
The opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as a Senior Project Engineer (HV Breakers) and lead the design and implementation of engineering projects focused on high voltage switchgear. This role offers a unique chance to work independently manage complex projects and coach lowerlevel professionals. Youll be responsible for preparing designs modifying customerspecific solutions and ensuring the successful of customer orders. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by driving innovation solving complex problems and enhancing customer satisfaction in a dynamic and supportive environment.
How youll make an impact
- Act as a technical leader for customer orders and responsible countries.
- Generate BOM in ERP for customer orders working closely with team members.
- Understand and interpret circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Review and understand mechanical designs and drawings in 3D design tools like Creo.
- Collaborate with design and secondary engineers to review 2D and 3D drawings.
- Review customer specifications at the order design stage.
- Support production teams with technical queries.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to understand customer requirements.
Your background
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 68 years of experience with high voltage switchgear 66kV and above).
- Knowledge of relevant international standards (e.g. IEEE ANSI IEC).
- Proficiency in ERP software is an added advantage.
- Understanding of manufacturing drawings and electrical schematics.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
