We are searching for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team located at our facility in Jacksonville East IL.

Your Role:

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager is responsible for providing focus definition and technical expertise for the development of a proactive Environmental Health and Safety plan that is consistent with Reynolds corporate policies vision and values; and follows local state and federal Environmental Health and Safety regulations. This position will inspect and evaluate the environment equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards. Ultimately you will play a key role in protecting our employees customers and the environment.

• Drive the development and implementation of Environmental Health and Safety policies procedures and programs.
• Maintain updated OSHA and EPA required written programs and develop/conduct training as necessary.
• Oversee the reporting and investigations of any potential injury accident and/or health and safety related issues.
• Oversee the necessary environmental health and safety training to support and enhance the organizations safety culture.
• Develop and deploy policies procedures programs to support best practices and identify best practices within the Reynolds system.
• Provide communication and training to plant management establish and maintain communications reporting assessments training programs and guidance.
• Work with the Corporate EHS departments and provide prioritized direction and technical expertise to the engineering organizations or contractors in implementing projects.

We need you to have:

• BA/BS degree in Occupational Safety & Health Environmental Engineering or technical discipline or related field.
• 5 years of progressive and related professional health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
• Selfdirected with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through .
• Welldeveloped leadership and motivational skills with proven ability to influence and motivate others to quickly achieve results.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
• Ability to travel 5.
• Must be teamoriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Icing on the cake:

• Certifications in Health & Safety.
• MBA or Masters degree.
• Environmental experience.
