About the role
As the Food and Beverage Team Leader you will coordinate the daytoday operational requirements of food and beverage services at St. Josephs Mews. Your responsibilities will include serving meals snacks and beverages setting up and packing down caf/bar areas and coordinating staff requirements. You will also liaise with the Village Manager and prospective customers to organize and coordinate regular inhouse meetings and functions. This role reports to the Retirement Living Manager.
About you
You will be a passionate hospitality Team leader experienced in Bar Bistro and Caf operations assisting in menu planning arranging functions always maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and their guest.
Skills and experience required
- Experience working in a food services environment and supervising staff.
- Experienced in delivering outstanding customer service
- Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
- Clear understanding of food handling requirements.
- Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry.
- Ability to plan and implement functions.
- Basic computer skills including MS Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to highquality customer service.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a retirement living environment.
