Fire and Safety Australia (FSA) is a registered training organisation (RTO: 22250 and a leader in emergency response and safety training as well as emergency response and medical personnel services. Established in 2007 FSA is a truly national business with both training and Medical and Emergency response personnel in every state and territory of Australia. With the recent acquisition of Sharp 5 Training FSA is expanding its presence in the Mackay and Bowen Basin region and we are looking for a High risk Work License Trainer to deliver amazing memorable Training to your clients in the region.

The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a High risk Work License Trainer to join our team in Mackay & the Bowen Basin region. This role is critical in supporting FSAs expansion following our acquisition of Sharp 5 Training as we continue to strengthen our presence in the region.

About the Role:
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic trainer/assessorwho can facilitate nationally recognised training courses. You will complete training both at client locations and at our sites in Mackay Mooranbah and the Bowen basin.. You will also be training HRWL accredited training for
- Forklift
- EWP
You will be required to work as part of our training team wear our company uniform and support ouroperations by:
- Conducting highly engaging emergency response and safety training sessions onsite at client locations and FSA offices
- Conducting training sessions at our public training course venues.
- Conducting onsite emergency response exerciseTravelling if required to locations within your state to assist our team
- Travelling if required to locations within your state to assist our team.
The successful candidatewill hold the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Latest TAE with LLN competencies
- HRWL Trainer and Assessor accreditation with Worksafe Qld.
- Exceptional organisational delivery and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- A strong safety culture
- A selfstarter who is reliable working autonomously across various projects and courses and is able to travel as required.
