Job Description
Ford Model E Infotainment Platform Team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of engineers in developing cutting edge vehicle access experiences.
Responsibilities
What Youll Do
- Hire lead mentor and inspire a team of highly skilled software engineers specializing in Bluetooth Low Energy Ultrawide Band NFC technologies.
- Foster a collaborative and high performing team culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.
- Define and drive technical roadmap for Vehicle Access features CCC Digital Key specification and integration aligning with overall product strategy and market trends.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering and design to implementation testing and deployment.
- Ensure timely delivery of highquality software solutions that meet performance reliability and scalability requirements.
- Collaborate closely with product managers designers and other stakeholders to define product specification and ensure successful .
- Champion engineering best practices including code reviews unit testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices particularly in the areas of multimedia frameworks automotive infotainment and Android development.
- Manage team performance conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional growth and development.
Qualifications
Youll have
- B.S. in Electrical Electronics Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- 3 years of experience of managing and leading engineering teams in automotive or consumer electronics domain.
- 10 years of handson experience in software development.
- Experience working on vehicle access domain with NFC UWB BT Low energy technologies.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and a passion for innovation.
Even better you may have
- M.S. in Electrical Electronics Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience negotiating with hardware and software vendors.
- Familiarity with the CCC specification.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
