UOE Grade 7:per annum

College of Science & Engineering School of Engineering Institute for Integrated Micro and Nano Systems

Full time: 35 hours per week

Fixedterm: up to 12 months

The Opportunity:

This Research Associate position will contribute to the ACRC project within theInstitute for Integrated Micro and Nano Systems (IMNS) at the University of Edinburgh which is partially funded by Legal and General and EPSRC.

This role is 100 FTE UE07 and is available on a fixed term basis up to 12 months.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A good undergraduate degree and a PhD in electronics or a related area
  • Experience in delivering research project results; i.e. a record of peerreviewed journal and conference papers in a relevant area.
  • Capable of working independently exercising a high degree of initiative and demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Experience in handling and designing sensors (PCB firmware RF systems etc.
