ChristianaCare is transforming memory care services in the greater Delaware Region and we are seeking a BC/BENeurologist to join our dynamic and innovative team at our Swank Center for Memory Care. Ideal candidates will have a deep passion for memory disorders and a strong commitment to advancing Swank Center for Memory Cares Alzheimers infusion program. Successful completion of either a Cognitive Neurology or Behavioral Neurology/Neuropsychiatry Fellowship is preferred but not required.
ChristianaCare Swank Center for Memory Care:
- Multidisciplinary team includes specialists in geriatrics geriatric psychiatry and neurology.
- Help patients and their families navigate the many challenges faced when a loved one is diagnosed with dementia.
- Take a holistic approach to addressing the mental and physical health needs of our patients and their caregivers.
- ChristianaCare Swank Center for Memory Care was chosen by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as a Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) model for memory care program.
- Practice locations include Wilmington Rehoboth and Smyrna. Hybrid work may be considered based on home practice location.
Memory Care Center Neurologist & Infusion Program Lead Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments diagnosis and treatments for patients with memory loss as well serve as the infusion program lead.
- Dedicated administrative time for infusion program lead responsibilities.
- See patients who are referred for evaluation for neurocognitive disorders at Swank Center for Memory Care.
- Evaluate potential candidates for Alzheimers disease monoclonal antibody treatments.
- Collaborate with other Swank Center for Memory Care clinicians and staff to provide care and consultation.
- Provide education to fellow Swank Center for Memory Care staff clinicians trainees and community members.
- Provide ongoing treatment and monitoring of infusion treatment patients.
- Work with Swank Center for Memory Care nurse navigator infusion team staff Swank Center for Memory Care Department Chair and others to develop and execute protocols for infusionbased Alzheimers disease treatments.
- Evaluate potential new dementia treatments for use within Swank Center for Memory Care.
- Develop and implement evidencedbased practices for dementia treatments including infusionbased.
- Oversee ongoing safety and QI initiatives related to antidementia related treatments.
- Assist with developing protocols for utilization of biomarkers in assessment diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimers and other neurodegenerative disorders.
- Work with ChristianaCare and Swank Center for Memory Care Leadership teams to expand care and access to infusionbased Alzheimers disease treatments across Delaware and ChristianaCares service areas.
- Potential for research activity/support.
- Support and promote the mission of Swank Center for Memory Care and ChristianaCare.

Qualifications:
- BE/BC Neurologist
- Fellowship training or experience in Cognitive Neurology Behavioral Neurology or Neuropsychiatry preferred
- Eligible to obtain license in Delaware and meet credentialing requirements.
