Job Description
The Faculty of Biological Science at The University of Tulsa invites applications for Teaching Assistant Professor level positions 9month appointment nontenure track) beginning in August of 2025. We seek creative and interactive individuals to teach lectures and/or laboratories in one or more of our high enrollment majors and service courses (Introduction to Organismic and Evolutionary Biology; Introduction to Molecular and Cell Biology Genetics; Human Anatomy; Human Physiology). In addition these faculty would develop organize and teach undergraduate courses in one or more of the following upper division subjects: Endocrinology Embryology Immunology Protein Structure and Function Parasitology Mycology or Plant Biology. The positions have no expectations for research productivity but successful candidates will be encouraged to engage in scholarly activity that has the potential to involve undergraduate students. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on expertise and departmental needs. The successful candidates will be expected to supervise student workers teaching assistants and contribute to the administrative responsibilities of the department.
