Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Teach three courses per semester 9cr hours) in printmaking foundations related areas and/or general education areas Participate in departmental and university service including collaboration with printmaking and studio art colleagues on curriculum program development and student advising Sustained scholarly/ creative practice research program in the field of printmaking
Minimum Qualifications
Earned MFA or equivalent in Printmaking or related area Proficiency in teaching relief printing intaglio printing and digital processes for printmaking Ability to teach all levels of printmaking seminar courses and capstone courses within the studio art curriculum Experience with or commitment to building a shared vision for the printmaking area Interest in and ability to engage in critical dialogues across disciplines Experience with or commitment to educating and mentoring students of various backgrounds and demographics Assistant Professor: One year or more collegelevel teaching experience at the graduate assistant level or beyond Evidence of teaching effectiveness Evidence of promising creative or scholarly practice within the field of printmaking Associate Professor: Six years or more collegelevel teaching experience within the field of printmaking Evidence of excellence in teaching within the field of printmaking Proven record of creative or scholarly practice within the field of printmaking
