Job Summary
Provides key support to the Managing Director and IFAs of our company a fast growing company providing independent financial advice. The role will be varied and requires a numerate and articulate individual who is highly organised with good PC skills confident telephone manner and good communication skills at all levels. Based in our Chelmsford office with occasional travel to our other offices (expenses paid).
Job description
The primary roles are:
To write suitability reports for clients of the firms IFAs. Reports are often of a technical nature.
To conduct whole of market research via IRESS FE Analytics Synaptic Comparator O&M Pension Profiler Assureweb etc.
Administrative Duties as and when required Application Forms Illustrations covers letters etc
Education/skills profile
Minimum Level 4 qualified and ideally en route to Chartered status.
Must have at least two years previous experience of working in a paraplanning role.
Must have excellent customercare skills.
Will need a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and preferably knowledge of Adviser Office 1st Software) The Exchange and insurance company online applications.
Must have an excellent command of English and Maths.
Must be able to work under own initiative and to undertake a variety of tasks by prioritising work effectively.
Salary and other details
The salary for this post will be dependent on experience.
The hours of work will be 9 5.30 Monday to Friday each week. Holiday entitlement will initially be 21 days per annum plus bank holidays rising to 25 days after year 5 of employment.
