Corporate Sponsorship Executive Intern
Term: May August 2025
Compensation: Unpaid Internship (Remote)

Job Description:
Cosmos Sports & Entertainment is scouting for committed energetic and outgoing individuals with a passion for both sales and sports. The Sponsorship Executive internship provides a handson learning experience for those eager to obtain a position in the industry in the scope of sales and service. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist Sponsorship department in selling sponsorship for Cosmos clients. Current clients include:
USports
Skate Canada
City of Mississauga
British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL)
Toronto Rush
Attending virtual meetings with potential brands/potential sponsors amongst a variety of categories (i.e. Auto Restaurants Online Sports Betting etc.
Generating prospect pipelines through research and outreach
Developing and preparing sponsorship overviews and proposals while also gaining an understanding of the sponsorship process
Managing details and maximizing presence of Cosmos clients at events. Research on other local events.
Development management and of largescale projects and events
Maintaining internal CRM databases and correspondence with current and potential clients
Performing all other responsibilities and duties as assigned
Interns will work under senior sponsorship management:
Gavin Roth: BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY PROGRAM IN WHICH THE INTERNSHIP WILL COUNT TOWARDS A SCHOOL CREDIT.
Preference will be given to candidates who are currently enrolled in college/university programs relevant to Business Marketing Sport Management or related fields of study.
What YOU will bring to Cosmos Sports:
Ability to work as an effective team player as well as independently
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of MS Office Applications
Previous sales with an intangible asset is a plus
The internship will be a remote opportunity with onsite office access available.
