Job Description
As an Automotive Service Technician at Parkside Kia in Knoxville Tennessee you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of our dealership. This is a fulltime hourly position in the auto industry requiring technical skills and strong attention to detail. As an individual contributor you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on a variety of Kia vehicles.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a fulltime hourly position offering competitive compensation based on experience certifications and performance. In addition to competitive pay we offer a comprehensive benefits package including A $5000 signing bonus medical dental and vision insurance paid time off and a 401k plan.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes tire rotations and filter replacements
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on Kia vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment
Complete accurate and timely repairs based on dealership and manufacturer standards
Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate estimates for repairs
Keep accurate records of all service and repair work performed
Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
ASE certifications preferred
Must have own tools and a valid drivers license
Ability to work in a fastpaced and physically demanding environment
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
