Love Cakes by DLM Decorator
As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason Ohio were hiring for key positions to begin training at our existing stores! This is a unique opportunity to get a head start gain handson experience and be a part of the foundation for our newest location. If you love people and good food join us in making The DLM Experience come alive in Mason.
Who doesnt love cake If you agree that buttercream makes everything a little better we may have the perfect position for you.Love Cakes by Dorothy Lane Market is our specialty cake boutique that is responsible for producing the cakes sold in each of the DLM Bakeries as well as creating extravagant wedding cakes and eyecatching special occasion cakes.
We are excited to find the next highly skilled designer to join our team. Experience is a must as we are seeking a highly motivated individual who is versed in the following: assembling and leveling wedding cakes rolling fondant base icing bordering cakes creating an array of flower designs and characters and beautiful handwriting skills. Opportunity to show creative work is available through designing cakes not only for custom orders but for our annual Wedding Showcase. Candidates will be tested for quality of work as well as speed and efficiency. Other requirements include giving Dorothy Lane Market level of guest experience both in person and during phone and wedding consultations lifting 50 pounds and being a team player who can work in a great collaborative environment. Hours include mornings and afternoons as well as weekends and will flex with busy seasons.
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service.
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
- A willingness to practice theDLM Team Values:Be Honest Safe Helpful and HardWorking
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience decorating.
- 18 years old or older.
- Holiday and weekend schedule availability.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
