We are expanding at warp speed and are adding to our team from our sales office and shop floor locations to our remote online team members. We are a diverse creative and passionate crew who is always looking to discover and implement fresh innovative ideas and make some pretty amazing things.
JOB SUMMARY
The Delivery Driver will perform numerous duties to support the plant. This includes deliveries and assisting shipping receiving and warehousing departments when needed. Provide timely movement of materials and their distribution to appropriate departments.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Delivery Driver will perform numerous duties to support the plant. This includes deliveries and assisting shipping receiving and warehousing departments when needed. Provide timely movement of materials and their distribution to appropriate departments.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify loads against shipping papers; verify labels and quantity
- Collect Signatures for goods delivered
- Maintain DOT requirements.
- Maintain truck log.
- Load and unload goods to and from truck
- Assure delivery to appropriate departments and locations
- Applies knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road in the area
- Helps with palletization and shrinkwrap of daily goods.
- Adheres to all safety rules regulations and company policies.
- Use of forklift and hand pallet jacks to unload shipments from trucks and move to storage area or deliver to appropriate departments
- Work overtime and weekend hours as needed
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and management. Works with others in a professional polite manner.
- Any and all other duties assigned by Bindery/Shipping Manager
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Drivers License
- Excellent driving record
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Printing Industry a plus
- Ability to operate electric pallet jack manual pallet jack sit down forklift stand up forklift floor jack hand truck and shrink wrap machine.
Preferred Skills
- Must be willing to work nights weekends and overtime when needed.
- Must be at work on time as scheduled
- Mathematical Skills ability to add subtract multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to count inventory and products being delivered or shipped.
- Work Planning Organization & Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to interpret instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
