We are excited to expand our leadership team and invite an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join us as a Rehab Director at our respected senior campuses in La Crosse and its surrounding communities. As the OTR Rehab Director you will be responsible for leading and managing the therapy department while ensuring the highest level of care and support for our residents. Occupational Therapist (OTR) Rehab Director Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the occupational therapy department ensuring effective and efficient service delivery for all residents.
- Oversee and mentor a team of occupational therapists and assistants providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive individualized treatment plans for residents ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents occupational needs including mobility selfcare and daily activities.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aimed at improving residents independence daily function and quality of life.
- Ensure the highest standard of care by monitoring and evaluating therapy progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Promote a positive and supportive work culture fostering collaboration and professional development within the therapy team.
- Manage departmental operations including scheduling staffing and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide education and training to staff on the latest occupational therapy techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of residents progress and therapy outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Advocate for residents needs ensuring that the right resources therapies and support are available to improve their independence and overall wellbeing.
