The City of Greeley in compliance with Colorado state law includes a salary range for all positions posted. This law is intended to improve wage transparency. Job Summary:
The Building Inspector inspects buildings at various stages of construction alteration and repair to ensure compliance with building codes approved plans and specifications and other applicable regulations and ordinances. This position has additional responsibilities including but not limited to determining code compliance writing notices of violations working with property owners / contractors to correct violations drafting preliminary plans examining work and reviewing and approving building plans.
