Job Description
Team
Blitz is a gaming platform launched by Voodoo in 2021 allowing players to compete on mobile games for real cash prizes (headup tournaments leagues etc.. It is leveraging Voodoos unique game portfolio to engage users in a fun and rewarding way.
We are looking for a Data Analyst who will play a key role in collecting and analyzing data to guide strategic decisions optimize the user experience and improve the economic performance of Blitz a realmoney gaming platform.
Role
- Work on endtoend data projects in collaboration aiming to enhance our games and boost both monetization and player retention improvements.
- Gather needs from stakeholders build data collection and transformation pipelines train and deploy simple predictive models into production.
- Share progress with game analysts by building dashboards and providing them with actionable recommendations.
- Defining KPIs and prioritizing initiatives based on expected impact.
- Analyze large complex data sets with billions of events representing the behavior of online and mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions.
- Design solutions from scratch iterate quickly create POCs and deploy to production rapidly.
- Build and manage robust data pipelines to align with everevolving business needs ensuring optimal architecture support.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on A/B testing analyzing results and improving testing frameworks to enhance product evaluation and inform strategic decisions.
- You enjoy working in a fastpaced environment and are able to balance the tradeoff between timeconsuming development and rapid results.
Profile
- You possess substantial experience in analytical roles ideally within a web or mobile company or the online gaming industry.
- 2 years minimum of proven experience in data analysis AB testing and datadriven decisionmaking
- You are highly skilled in SQL and have a proven track record of building productionready pipelines that handle large and complex data sets.
- You have solid experience in ETL development
- You have practical experience with Tableau and can create dashboards that are shared companywide facilitating datadriven decisionmaking across departments.
- You enjoy working in a fastpaced environment and are able to balance the tradeoff between timeconsuming development and rapid results.
- A BA/B.Sc degree in Statistics Math Engineering Economy or other quantitative fields is mandatory for this role.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models will be considered a significant advantage.
