Nurse Practitioner Augusta GA
Amazing opportunity to work at the Augusta VA Health Care System in Augusta GA
THE SHORT: Need 2 Nurse Practitioners for the ED for a fulltime longterm Government contract. Pay is $95/hour. Any state license acceptable.
LOCATION: Augusta VA Health Care System 950 15th Street Augusta GA 30901.
START DATE/DURATION:
- The tentative start date is 5/1. It will depend on credentialing (which can take 24 weeks). We can schedule a start date based on your schedule as well.
- This is a 3 year contract. (Note: the duration is a contract between us and the Government. Like any other job if life means you must leave you just give us 60day notice).
COMPENSATION:
- $95/hour 1099 or W2 options available allinclusive
- We cover Med Mal (claims made 3yr tail)
SCHEDULE:
- The ED operates 24/7/365. Shift times are subject to change based on ED volumes and staff utilization at the discretion of VA management.
- No call or afterhours coverage is needed
- 10hour shifts. Sample:
- 9 am 7 pm
- 4 pm 2 am (these are only weekday shifts)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Any state license full and unrestricted
- Must either carry certification in emergency medicine or have recent substantial experience working primarily in an ED setting of at least 5 years in duration.
- BLS ACLS ATLS
- DEA
- Must be able to pass the Governments background fingerprint check
