Job Description
Are you ready to suit up
Were seeking security guards to fill various jobs with our customer at their distribution centres in Brampton and the surrounding area.
As a security guard in thedistribution centres you must have a valid G or G2 drivers license be completelyflexible with your schedule will have impeccable customer service control access atthe facility escort workers in certain areas and assist with many other tasks.
The sites are not all transit accessible so you must have your own car to apply.
What youll be doing
- Access control through the computer system
- Camera surveillance of access gates and parking barriers
- Greet customers and register visitors as needed
- Manage contractor access as well as access cards
- Perform daily reports and incident reports
- Act as first responder during events crisis situations and emergencies
- Perform surveillance rounds
- Occasionally escort maintenance in restricted areas
- Unlock and lock certain areas during monitoring rounds and via Lenel systems
- Escort employees late at night to their car in the parking lot

What were looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ontario Security Guard licence
- Valid ON Drivers license G or G2 with own car
- 24/7 availability
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR
- Security experience
- Comfortable working on a computer
- At ease working as a team and offering excellent customer service
