Title: Patient Transporter
Location: Phoenix AZ

GMTCare has been an industry leader in nonemergency transportation for more than a decade. GMTCare has an impressive track record of working with our clients to manage their nonemergency medical transportation needs. We are expanding our Las Vegas Nevada home base to northern Nevada and Phoenix Arizona areas. Were industry leaders in every aspect but from an employee perspective we are the only company utilizing a 2person stretcher team and the Stryker Power LOAD System to eliminate injuries and increase team member and patient safety.
Minimum Requirements:
- Seeking dependable individuals to work fulltime.
- Must be at least 22 years of age.
- Valid Arizona State drivers license.
- Ability to drive large vans over an 8hour plus shift in a safe and professional manner.
- Must be comfortable working with diverse group of patients.
- Must have good customer service skills and the ability to interact with patients facility staff and other employees.
- Ability to work varied days and shifts including day swing and graveyard.
- Must have CPR certification or be able to obtain within 30 days.
- Must pass DOT drug test DOT Physical & background checks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be capable of lifting minimum of 125 pounds.
Duties:
- Assisting with transferring patients from home to facility facility to facility or facility to home.
- Following directions and the ability to read and use map software accurately.
- Performing all related duties as assigned including transporting patients in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicating with dispatch to receive relevant data and instructions.
- Professional behavior and attitude towards customers visitors and coworkers.
- Completion of vehicle maintenance inspection prior to daily vehicle usage for safe and comfortable patient transport.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to always follow safety protocols.
Schedule: Fulltime
Afternoon shift: 11am7pm and 1pm9pm
Night shift:MondaySunday from 9pm5am 2 days off during the week)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year experience in nonemergency transport
- 2 year customer service experience
- Bilingual is a plus!
