Join The West Australian as a Photographer and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to capturing and conveying powerful stories to a national audience. The ideal candidate is a creative professional with news photography experience and a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Capture compelling and impactful images that tell stories and evoke emotions
- Attend various events press conferences and locations to document newsworthy moments
- Collaborate with reporters editors and other team members to plan and execute visual content for news articles
- Adapt to a fastpaced and everchanging work environment often working under tight deadlines
- Embrace flexible work hours including availability for evenings weekends and occasional travel as required
- Be able to cope with on call rostering
What Youll Bring:
- A keen eye and news sense
- Sound photography skills and the associated digital nous
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours and deadline driven
- Great current affair knowledge
