JOB SUMMARY
To teach a combination of English classes offered in Grades 1112 for the 202526 school
year including dual credit classes through Seattle Universitys Matteo Ricci Program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in the specific content area (ex. English Literature Composition)
WA State Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one
Masters degree either in the content area or related field required for this position
Familiarity with educational technology
Recent classroom experience preferably in a high school setting
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will possess the skills and abilities to:
Work with students from a variety of cultural backgrounds and learning abilities
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Effectively utilize educational technology to enhance the learning of students
Use data to inform instructional practices
Work collaboratively within the department on curriculum and assessments
Be flexible and resourceful
Be organized and an effective communicator with all members of the school
community
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges
market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and
certifications. Salary is dependent upon experience certification and education2
according to Kennedy Catholics faculty compensation schedule. For the
school year a teachers salary ranges between $55962 and $106217.
