ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster cheaper more energyefficient microchips. We design develop integrate market and service these advanced machines which enable our customers the worlds leading chipmakers to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips which in turn leads to smaller more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven the Netherlands and we have 18 office locations around the United States.
This position is for a Senior Module Production Engineer with innovative attitude to work in the Production Engineering department in Wilton Factory. Candidate will work with crosssectors employees to develop new manufacturing processes for new product introduction and improve existing processes for volume production and will be a mentor for the broader production engineering team
Education and experience
Bachelors Degree in an engineering field with 6 years of manufacturing or production experience
Masters Degree in a engineering field with 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Role and responsibilities
Driving the industrialization of our systems with a cross sector approach for design and maturity
Will be contributing to system level KPIs regarding availability reliability Cycle time and Costs
Leading and mentoring junior Module production engineers
Support inproduction issues escalated by FLS with concise troubleshooting and action plans.
assisting in the design of engineering solutions and the validation process to enable the realization of a design brief
Drive process improvement initiatives and cycle time reduction.
Review failure analysis reports from suppliers and help validate the rootcause of the failure.
Interface with internal and external customers to address module failure root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Structural trouble shooting capabilities on a functional level and managing technical uncertainties at a submodule level
developing creative solutions to solve uncertainties in production
owning responsible for customer problems and coming up with solutions for specific issues
developing technical concepts including material choices using team input design architecture
preparing high level design of the submodule fulfilling the requirements set while addressing architectural and interface choices
Integrate subsystems and execute configuration management and provide support to projects
Perform verification of SDS verify design specifications from team members and contribute to the testing process
