Description
Price Industries Inc.is on the search for a DesignEngineerfor our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Suwanee GA. This design engineer will focus on special design tasks and help ensure the team meets key product development timelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Conduct the design test and release of chilled beam products
- Establish manage and communicate project deliverables
- Understand and comply with safety standard requirements
- Initiate and lead design FMEAs design reviews and preproduction builds with multidiscipline development team
- Manage the creation of internal and external design documentation including bill of materials and submittals
- Support the collection and evaluation of product costs
- Support the production of new and existing chilled beam products
- Evaluate test data and implement appropriate actions
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S in Engineering (emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent)
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling (ex. SolidWorks Solid Edge etc. and MS Office applications
- Previous experience in product design preferred sheet metal design experience. HVAC industry a plus.
- Understanding of design for manufacturing concepts.
- Strong computerbased skills and proficiency with 3DCAD and MS Office applications
- Strong interpersonal communication organization and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change
