TheDepartment of Cardiovascular Diseasesat Mayo Clinics campus in Jacksonville Florida has 28 cardiologist 23 advanced practice providersand several fulltime researchersdedicated to outstanding patient care and innovation in translational and clinical research related to disorders of the heart arteries veins and lymphatic vessels. Department members are organized into a variety ofsubspecialty teams. Each group focuses on a particular segment of cardiology or vascular medicine. Their specific expertise is a resource for everyone and enables the entire department to stay at the leading edge of change in cardiology and vascular medicine. The advanced practice providers for this position will work with a team of experts within the comprehensive service line.

Nurse Practitioner:Mastersprepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current FL RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP ANP or ACNP.
Physician Assistant:Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the FL State Board of Medical Practice.
Additional Qualifications:
Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
