DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will oversee assess train and develop subordinate staff in carrying out various assigned tasks to include conducting and evaluating structure inspections and their reports. In addition you will create action plans to resolve critical issues for the District Bridge Engineer (DBE) or Assistant District Bridge Engineer Inspection (ADBEI) to review. Perform and assess structural load rating calculations for ADBEI approval complete bridge posting recommendation data sheets as necessary. You will review heavy hauling permits needing Bridge Unit evaluation through the Automated Permit Routing Analysis System (APRAS). Furthermore you will serve as the District Local Bridge Inspection Program Coordinator preparing and managing structure inspection schedules and agreements to ensure timely completion of local bridge inspections per National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and departmental policies. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime up to 3 days a week. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Uniontown.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an EngineerinTraining certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers Land Surveyors and Geologists;or
- Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an EngineerinTraining certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associates degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or
- Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty and a bachelors degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
Special Requirements:- This position requires possession of avalid drivers license.

- PA residency requirementis currentlywaivedfor this title.
