About Us
The Florida Everblades are a professional ice hockey team based in Estero Florida playing in the ECHL. Hertz Arena is the teams home venue and hosts a variety of events throughout the year. We are dedicated to providing an exciting experience for our fans and community.
Position Overview
The Content Creator Intern will assist the marketing team in developing engaging content that promotes the Florida Everblades and Hertz Arena. This internship offers handson experience in content creation social media management and digital marketing strategies within a professional sports & entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Develop highquality written visual and video content for social media platforms websites the inarena experience and many others.
Social Media Management: Assist in managing Everblades and Hertz Arenas social media accounts by scheduling posts engaging with followers and monitoring analytics.
Event Coverage: Attend games and events to capture live content (photos/videos) and create postevent recaps.
Graphic Design: Collaborate with the marketing team to design all content using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Research & Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather information and create cohesive messaging across platforms.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing Digital Media Communications or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
Experience in photography and a camera are a must.
Proficiency in social media platforms (YouTube Facebook Instagram X (Twitter) TikTok Snapchat LinkedIn Threads).
Basic knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Creative Cloud Canva Adobe Photoshop) is required.
Familiarity with video editing tools (iMovie Adobe Premiere Pro) is preferred.
Passion for the sports and entertainment industry is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends during events.
