About the role

Are you passionate about retail community and sustainability RSPCA Qld are seeking a dedicated Op Shop Supervisor for a permanent parttime role in our Bundaberg store. In this role youll oversee daily operations look after our incredible volunteers and ensure our customers enjoy a welcoming and engaging shopping experience. As part of RSPCAs growing op shop network you will contribute to achieving sales targets driving community donations and supporting our mission to change lives.

  • Represent the RSPCA Qld Op Shop team and brand through your passion for all things preloved and secondhand and encourage the same within your team to create a positive supportive store atmosphere.
  • Work closely with the Op Shop Store Manager to support the goals and mission of the RSPCA Qld.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Train and support volunteers.
  • Drive sales to achieve set targets.
  • Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store.
  • Direct and monitor the daily register opening & closing procedures.
  • Manage and periodically review the shops pricing list.

About you

Youll be a great communicator with topnotch interpersonal skills. If this is the right role for you your skills and qualifications may also include:

  • Confident in retail and must have demonstrated supervisor experience in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands.
  • Proven visual/merchandising skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable performing physical tasks including manual handling bending kneeling and reaching to carry out essential merchandising duties and assisting customers.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Sound computer skills.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to supervise & provide direction to a small team.
