Job Description
Come join our Social Services Team as a PRN Therapist at River Place Behavioral Health! This position will work weekends.

River Place Behavioral Health a service of Ochsner Health System provides stateoftheart psychiatric care for adults who are struggling with depression anxiety bipolar disorder and other mental health concerns.
As a Therapist at River Place you will participate in the development and implementation of patients treatment plan by:
Providing and documenting psychotherapy services to patient as scheduled.
Conducting individual group or family therapy sessions as appropriate for treatment plan of the patient.
Providing initial treatment planning for patient based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed revising as necessary.
Maintaining documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards and revising as indicated by facility or professional standard.
Maintaining a caseload as assigned.
Participating in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patient as appropriate to their treatment plan.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Counseling or Human Services field required.
- One or more years experience working with comparable patient population required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Requisite licensure for professional therapy providers or eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider.
